I completed my psychology undergraduate education at Bilkent University as an honor student. In addition to various internships I did during my undergraduate education, I worked as a research assistant at Bilkent University Social Psychology Laboratory and Bilkent University Developmental Psychology Laboratory. In my undergraduate thesis, I investigated the relationship between daily romantic relationship satisfaction and sleep in individuals aged 18-25. I completed my master's degree in Clinical Psychology at Utrecht University. I received a specialist training that adopts the scientist-practitioner model and has an evidence-based approach. I studied Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and specialized in trauma, grief, depression and anxiety disorders. In my master's thesis, I examined complicated grief symptoms after job loss through a cross-cultural research. I attended various trainings and conferences during my master's degree, and now I am in the supervision phase of ISST approved Schema Therapy training. I can provide therapy in Turkish and English.
